Jeans will never go out of style; new cuts, washes, and trends emerge every season. Make sure your denim is up to date and check out these leading looks for spring.
Cropped
One denim trend that we'll continue to see throughout the summer and fall is the cropped look. Cropped styles can range from short and flared fits that hit a bit above the ankle or mid-calf, to tapered and tighter fits that hit just above or right at the ankle. Create a shorter cropped effect by rolling or cuffing. Try any cropped fit with a pair of booties, strappy heels, or sandals for a fresh spring look.
Flared
The wide seventies flare is back and hotter than ever. Flared jeans look great on every body type; the flare instantly slims, and a high waist elongates legs. Wear a pair of dark or light wash flares with booties or an open-toed heel for a summery, bohemian look. Tuck in your blouse – or better yet, a peasant top – for an even bigger seventies vibe.
Distressed
The distressed denim looks of the nineties are also back in style this spring. Choose a pair that exposes a little skin, but not too much or else you’ll risky looking trashy instead of trendy. Frayed denim is also a look we love; try a pair of white, cropped jeans that fray just around the ankle. A pair of slip-on sneakers make for a chic, relaxed look.
Jeans are your best friend in fashion. Upgrade your denim and try a new trend or two this spring.
