Chic Bathing Suit Cover-Ups

Add some flair to your swimwear…

Posted July 25, 2016

Draping a sarong around your waist isn’t the only bathing suit cover-up option out there, ladies. When it comes to casually covering your suit, there are more styles than you think. Before you head to the beach or pool for a day of splashing and sunbathing, add some flair to your swimwear and check out these chic bathing suit cover-ups.

Overalls

Short overalls are hip this summer, and they are so easy to slip on and off (which is ideal when it comes to swim cover-ups). Pull on a pair over any swimsuit and you’re good to go.

Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits are super chic and comfy. Choose a soft jumpsuit in a bohemian pattern for a flowy, beachy look. Accessorize with a floppy straw hat and oversized vintage sunglasses. If it’s hot out and you don’t want your legs covered, choose a shorter romper.

Kimono

Kimonos are also trending this summer and are perfect if you prefer a sheer or light layer over your bikini or one piece. We love bold colors and floral prints; fringe details add a boho vibe.

Off-the-Shoulder Dress

If your swimsuit is strapless (like a bandeau bikini or retro one piece), an off-the-shoulder dress can hide your suit completely and is flirty and feminine. Add a fedora or panama hat and a straw tote for a cute coastal look!

A swimsuit cover-up is a water wardrobe staple, but don’t hide behind it too much – love your shape and dive into summertime!
